Develop tools to respond to intrusive thoughts without fear or avoidance.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often misunderstood, with many equating it to simple quirks or habits. In reality, it’s a serious mental health condition that causes intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and leads to repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) in an attempt to reduce anxiety. Unfortunately, these behaviors only increase the anxiety, creating a cycle that can be difficult to break. OCD is more than a habit—it’s a challenge that requires understanding and effective treatment.
Take back your power—anxiety doesn’t get to write your story.
Anxiety is more than just feeling worried or stressed; it’s a persistent, overwhelming sense of fear or dread that can interfere with daily life. It can manifest as constant worry, physical tension, irritability, and difficulty concentrating. While it's normal to feel anxious in certain situations, for those with anxiety disorders, these feelings can become excessive and hard to control, affecting their emotional and physical well-being.
Healing is possible, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
Trauma can leave you feeling stuck—trapped in painful memories, overwhelming emotions, or patterns that no longer serve you. I am trained to use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-responsive techniques, I help your brain reprocess distressing experiences so they no longer have the same hold over you. Together, we’ll work to reduce emotional reactivity, build resilience, and restore a sense of safety and control.
Motherhood is hard enough without the added weight of anxiety or intrusive thoughts.
Pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting are supposed to be exciting and joyful times, but for many, they can also feel overwhelming and isolating. Challenges like infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, or adjusting to a new life stage can create feelings of sadness, frustration, or confusion.
Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) can disrupt this special time, making it hard to feel present or enjoy the experience. You may struggle with intrusive thoughts, excessive worry, mood swings, or feelings of guilt, which can impact your emotional well-being, your connection with your baby, and your ability to navigate everyday life.
Support in reducing accommodation without damaging connection
Support for caregivers of children experiencing OCD and anxiety, with a focus on understanding symptoms and how family responses can unintentionally maintain anxiety cycles. This work integrates evidence-based strategies such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help parents reduce accommodation, respond effectively to reassurance seeking and avoidance, and build more confident, consistent patterns of support at home.
A space-informed approach emphasizes emotional attunement, pacing, and collaboration—supporting parents in staying connected to their child while also learning to tolerate distress without immediately trying to fix or relieve it. Caregivers are guided in developing their own regulation skills so they can respond more intentionally during high-anxiety moments.
The goal is to help families shift from cycles of fear, conflict, and over-accommodation into more grounded, supportive, and sustainable ways of responding that promote long-term resilience for both parent and child.
Your healing is revolutionary—honor your journey, your voice, and your resilience.
Navigating racial identity can be a complex and deeply personal journey, especially for individuals in the BIPOC community. The challenges of facing systemic inequality, microaggressions, and cultural expectations can take a toll on emotional well-being. Whether you’re grappling with questions of identity, seeking healing from racial trauma, or navigating the balance of activism and self-care, we can work together to strengthen resilience, foster self-empowerment, and embrace your authentic self.
